I’ve fixed most problems already, but some links in sidebar are missing. Support said it could take 48 hours to settle back down.

Almost went wid a full move to Hostinger, but my Rowling’s theme had too many issues there. I did open a Linux Test Site blog there, for just a month to test it, but the theme didn’t give me the same Customizing settings that WordPress does, and couldn’t find the settings for dropdown menus on the sidebar either.

  • NOTE: I didn’t try the All-in-One WP Migration plugin, which may have fixed the issues, but not a risk I was willing to take today.

The Premium Shared Hosting plan is $2.59 for a year (renews @ $8.99/month) or $2.49 for 4-years (renews @ $6.99/month), but I went wid the 1-month plan @ $12.49 + a $1.17 for domain. My hPanel Dash was still there from last year’s tests…apparently you can run a bunch of blogs from there. Anyway, the 1-month blog was loaded wid free plugins, e.g., Classic Editor and much much more. If I ever find the right theme for there I will probably move @ the right price.

Still haven’t figured out Bullet lists or quotes yet, in the Block Editor 🤢, w/o a lot of wasted time trying to get them inserted (?!?).

Will add this post to the Web Hosting Info ‘n Ideas page, under October series…
