I had mentioned having a spare M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in the Windows 11 Computer Upgrades & Clean Installs series recently – a Mushkin Helix-L M.2 PCIE NVMe. Couple days later I came across a SSK Aluminum M.2 NVME SSD Enclosure Adapter.

Had been wondering if there was such a ‘Thang and had sorta been looking around to see. Came across that one, which actually gave me a name to search for others, and Googled “Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe.” That SSK one was about $8-9 cheaper, but have used Sabrent products for a long time ‘n trust them.

I found that one at B&H. About the same 300-400 MB/s transfer speeds as my Portable SSD T7 USB 3.2 ‘n SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD V2, but lots faster ‘n bigger than a standard 3.0 or 3.1 USB drive.

Will add this post to the TidBits ‘n Gadgets page…
