My lazy Muse, Orca, has finally inspired me once again, after my recent threat to “fire” her. 😉

Geek Girl has the geek girl, linux land – ‘musings of a girl in tech‘ blog, and she is *NOT* what Linus Torvalds calls “normal people“:

‘“One of the problems Desktop” Linux has is it’s not made for “normal people, and by normal people I mean, obviously nontechnical people…”’

Geek Girl is a ‘Techy tech‘ and naturally recommends to “Use sudo”:

Well, I’m just “normal people” ‘n don’t use ‘‘Pesky Passwords’, sudo or su‘ on any of my Windows 11 Pro computers (6 PCs + XPS 13 lappy), nor have I ever used such on any Android phone or tablet, and have only had to enter a pestering ‘pesky‘ password on some Chromebooks I was testing…at the login window, and no annoying ‘“Authenticate” popups‘ or other ‘Pesky Passwords’ after that. “normal people” don’t want to use sudo!!! 😉

Geek Girl is one of ‘Those Techy tech‘ Girls who could easily install Slackware Linux 15.0 RC3, I suspect, but like Linus Torvalds she prefers “Fedora Linux“. She also has “Extensive experience designing, implementing and managing systems on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux (OL), Solaris and Solaris Containers and HP-UX.
