I had thought that Laptop ‘n Desktop OS users would wait for Windows 11 to arrive before buying new computers, but many Laptop ‘n Desktop OS users are not waiting. Lots of MS Windows users know the excellent history of MS Windows well enough by now, that they are buying bargains of Windows 10 computers whilst knowing that the Windows 11 upgrade will be simple.
Windows 11 is already *HUGELY* popular, and its not even out yet! Still, Windows 10 is no slouch either, and remains popular amongst the over 1.3-BILLION Worldwide user base.
BTW, for those wid older computers that can’t upgrade from Windows 10, you still have four years left on Window 10 support. \o/ ’Hippity hip Hoorah’ \o/
Am working on a new Lappys post, but wanted to ‘squeeze’ this one on sales still booming in.
- PC market in the US grew 17% year on year in Q2 2021.
- PC sales are at a record high. But what we are buying is changing – ‘Ultraslim notebooks will dominate the market with 44.3% of sales, says IDC, followed by traditional notebooks (26%) and traditional desktops (18.1%).’
Yeah, those “Ultraslim” Lappys are hot right now, fact is, I’m on the lookout for another Lappy – probably the ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim when it is restocked – Asus has others, but Windows 10 Pro Lappys are apparently difficult to keep in stock.
LINUX IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES – you never know what you’re gonna get!
