First THEY stick advertising on their free product, after allowing me to use it without the advertising for a couple of days, and then after about+- 6 days they put a halt on using TextMaker without a “Free product key”!?!
Had ran into this problem back on October 11, 2019 ‘n didn’t know what it was about – FreeOffice and the missing ‘Free Product Key‘.
Guess I need to re-test Apache OpenOffice again, since it was really pretty good except for a minor update popup issue.
Anyway, busy times are here again! 1) Wanted to do a post on a change of direction, for the Progressions of the Linux Newbie Blog page, but the Linux ‘unHoly Inquisition’ has now threatened students with their ‘unHoly Inquisition‘ Tactics. Will do just a post on these Linux Inquisitors soon. 2) was working on a Fedora 34 post now when SoftMaker insisted on the “Free product key” before they would allow TextMaker to open a ODT file I had written a few days ago. Yeah, I will remove FreeOffice today…had already returned to MS Office Word.
