No wonder, after some 30 years, Linux has never been able to master the basic Wheel Mouse! They’re always too busy working on something else, e.g. like helping to provide an OS to fly a tiny helicopter on Mars rather than dedicating some time ‘n effort to actually creating a useable Plug ‘n Play Desktop OS.

Flying on Mars fueled with open-source software

For the first time in history, we’ve flown an aircraft, the mini-helicopter Ingenuity, on another planet. Open-source software backed up its engineering.

A small miracle happened at 3:31am ET on Monday morning. Ingenuity, a tiny NASA helicopter, became the first powered aircraft to fly on another planet, Mars. This engineering feat was done with Linux, open-source software, and a NASA-built program based on the Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s (JPL) open-source F´ framework.

A “small miracle” – Linux hacks never stop worshiping their Beloved Toy OS. Hey, how about providing a Desktop OS where a basic wheel mouse can scroll more than 1.5-2 lines per notch-click of the mouse wheel!? Forget trying to find a printer and/or scanner, i.e. Linux is too focused on playing around to bother working on a Desktop OS that is even close to being Plug ‘n Play. Which is one of the reasons I have been a Linux Newbie since 1996 instead of an actual fulltime Linux user. They also spend too much time forcing Linux users to use the annoying “Authenticate” popup/s & ‘Pesky Passwords’!

Someone should sue them for falsely claiming to also be a “Desktop OS.” They are nothing more than a Specialty OS…simple as that. Windows 10 is a Desktop OS. Android is a Mobile OS. Linux is a Specialty OS that is so fragmented that kids can hack it.

Amazon, Google ‘n Microsoft had to create their own Linux OSes because they couldn’t find a secure Linux OS amongst over 2000 fragmented versions of Linux.
