If this Linux Developer is a man then he must have a harem of Beautiful Women!? This is my second post on 4MLinux – the first was 4MLinux 33.0 – ‘Swamp Hermits *LOVE* Women & Rescue Distros!’.
Both time I had problems with a wireless keyboard, but the wireless mouse was fine; however, this time I thought to unplug the wireless devices from the 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub (here’s a 3.0 version that I use for Linux OSes), and plug them directly into USB ports by themselves.
OK…wireless keyboard worked that way.
Several reasons I have wanted to get this Distro installed…Beautiful Women on the wallpaper, most Americans love Poland ‘n this Distro originates from Poland, it appears to offer Fulltime Linux Root User access, it states that it is a “system rescue” Distro, and it has excellent info ‘n advice on its website.
Just an all-round interesting looking Linux Distro, and for some reason/s I am unable to get it installed!?! Probably something simple that I am missing, e.g. incompatible with Sabrent 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub when it came to the wireless keyboard.
Tried changing the way I ‘Held my Mouth’ but that didn’t work either!? That usually works with many Distros. 😉
Am giving up for today, but may try again in a few days.
OK…just found this: Partitioning in 4MLinux.
That didn’t work on a 64GB SanDisk, but it did on a 120GB SSD…here’s the GParted prep-formatting:
One of the keys to installing is to make sure 4MLinux 36.0 will be installed on “sda1.” I usually have Fat32 partition first…also, I have plenty of Ram so swap wasn’t really needed, but I wanted to stick to what was being done at that above partitioning link.
Also, I ended up having to use the Legacy Installer even tho my computers are less than two years old. Use the Boot Menu key (mine is F12) and that should show the Live USB options of – 1) UEFI: SanDisk, Partition 1; 2) SanDisk. I selected “2) SanDisk” which gave more options. Yours may be different. BTW, installation Live USB media was created with UNetbootin as guide suggested.
I’ve been at it off ‘n on all day, with all but one failed attempts (using all computers except laptop), so am about done for the day.

Great to see a Distro that offers Fulltime Linux Root User access instead of the annoying “Authenticate” popup/s or other ‘Pesky Passwords’ that most Linux Developers seem to believe that Desktop OS users need.
I’ll make a #6 spot for 4MLinux 36.0 on the Distros w/ *NO* “Authenticate” popup or other ‘Pesky Passwords’ page. Will need to do some more testing, especially to see if I can get it installed to a USB for more portability. It’s been difficult to work with, but was well worth the effort after finally getting a successful install!
