Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition went on sale yesterday ‘n was sold out when I checked on one!?!
Tech reports from sites like The Verge were all saying they would sell out quickly – Where to buy the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, starting 6am PT Wednesday: ‘At $400, this GPU will likely sell out quickly‘
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition: ‘With this killer $399 card, Nvidia puts the PC-gaming midrange in its pocket .. The Bottom Line – If you want the best marriage of price, performance, and features for 4K and 1440p gaming, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition is matched only by its own step-up RTX 3070 sibling. This card owns the $399 price point and delivers great value.‘
Average Bench: 144% (11th of 651) – ‘The RTX 3060 Ti is Nvidia’s latest 3000 series GPU. Assuming it (ever…) comes into stock at $400 USD, it will take the crown as the best value for money graphics card .. Meanwhile, Christmas has come early for Nvidia users who can look forward to an unparalleled gaming experience at half the price.‘
Who says Gamers don’t run the computer hardware industry?
Anyway, I purchased a GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GPU back on 8/6/2020 for total price of $237.99 ‘n the new $399 one (if you can find one) blows it away. However, not being a Gamer that one will probably be fine until my next build…that also gives me time to get past the hype ‘n keep checking back on how it is doing.
