Windows 7 support ends on January 14, 2020 – Windows 10 Update version 1909 was just released, so it’s a good time to consider upgrading from WIN7 to WIN10, since it is still free. Some tips in my – Upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10 now! post – and more info on the – WIN 7 series: For Windows 7 users page.
Updated all 5 of ‘My Computers’ this morning – from version 1903 to 1909, and also downloaded the 1909 ISO file in case I want to do a clean install later. Got the November 1909 update ISO file from: Direct Download Windows 10 November 2019 Update ISO Files (32-bit / 64-bit). Ubuntu 18.04.3 is my main Linux Distro, and also conduct tests on many other Distros. Just ‘Hot-Swap’ OSes when I want to switch from WIN10, except on Ace the Laptop where WIN10 and Ubuntu share the ‘Same SSD’ (not a dual-boot setup).

I created my new bootable 1909 WIN10 USB from that downloaded ISO mentioned earlier, and used Rufus to create it. Tested it also, i.e. used it to test if it worked by doing a clean install w/o punching in a Product Key Code…test worked fine. Microsoft will also create a bootable installation USB for you – more info on how to Update and/or Download Windows 10 and Media Creation Tool ‘Here’.
